Halo 2 Anniversary Comes to the PC Version of the Master Chief Collection Today

Halo 2: Anniversary will release May 12th/13th on PC and be purchasable on the Windows store and Steam. It's also playable for those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass for PC or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

It's not the first time Halo 2 will be available on PC over two years after it released on console Halo 2 Vista launched under the Games for Windows brand. Halo 2 Vista included 2 multiplayer maps that did not feature in the console version of the game. Uplift and District did not get a console release until the Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One.
